Eliezer Oren

President and Executive Vice Chairman of the Board of Matrix.

Matrix is Israel's largest IT integrator, with over 4,200 employees and annual turnover of over 400 millions USD. Matrix is publicly traded on TASE (Tel-Aviv Sock Exchange) and is included in the TA-100 and Div-20 Lists of TASE.

Mr. Oren started his professional career in the IDF’s Central IT unit, where he served for seven years. In his last position Mr. Oren served as Chief Programmer (today's equivalent of CTO).

Following his military service he worked at ATL (today Ness) for two and a half years as senior project manager, then co-founded Applicom (in 1982) and served as its CEO until it merged with Matrix.

In 1992 Formula acquired majority shareholding in Applicom. In 1994 Applicom went public for an IPO on TASE. Before merging with Matrix in 2002, New Applicom expanded to 550 employees, about $75 million in annual revenues and about $25 millions in cash.

Holds a BA summa cum laude in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from Tel-Aviv University
